The 24th of July Parade

This year's 24th Parade was one of the best we've ever had. There was a lot of floats, 2 bands and we were priviledged to see one of the last code talkers from World War IIm marching in the parade. That was so neat to see. We sat in our usual place under the tree at Hansen's house. The kids got to ride in the fire truck with Grandpa. They thought that was the coolest thing ever. I am not sure if they were excited about being in the fire truck or just being with their Grandpa. It seemed weired for us not to be chasing candy for them. Trevyn decideded it was a good time to take a nap. After the parade we just chilled and later that evening we made taquitoes which is another of our new traditions. It seemed so good to have so much family here and to just get caught up with everyone. The older I get the more I cherish the times we get to spend together.
