This and That

I decided that I better catch up on the blog since it is now warming up and hopefully the snow is past until next year. Working in the yard and getting ready for summer feels so good. I spent last Saturday mowing the law and cleaning up. Our winds around here have made a huge mess. There are tumble weeds all along our fences. It doesn't do any good to clean them until the winds have stopped. I love this time of year as the earth begins to renew and awaken from its long winter's nap. Seeing the trees turn green and flowers bloom and the lawns get lush renews and reawakens me also. I set more goals and get more done. I love waking up early with the light streaming in my window and hearing the birds outside singing me a wake up song. My kids used to hate the bird that made his nest in our clothesline because he began his chirping so early but I always said a silent "thank you" for making my day. Our summer is going to start out with exciting things this year. Sharla will be graduating from nursing school in May. She has worked so hard and will be the most loving and compassionate nurse anyone could ask for. Any patient that has her will leave feeling blessed and well cared for. I can't wait to see her in her first job. Next we will have a new arrival in our family when Dallas and Emilee have their little boy join us. We can't wait to see him, hold him and kiss him. We will end the summer with a wedding!! Jaron and Sharla will be getting married in August, and life will be just as it should be, forever growing and changing. My hope is that we will love each other more, forgive each other often, and laugh like we have never laughed before. I count myself lucky to have such an amazing family. This month we celebrate Dallas' birthday. Your getting old bud. We love and appreciate all you do for us. Take care everyone and enjoy the warmth of the sun. It will all too soon be fall again!
