I said in my last blog that I didn't think our skunk problem was over and sure enough it wasn't! Last night I was awakened by that horrible, nose buring smell of skunk spray. I thought maybe the skunk that lived had come back for revenge. If so then he surely hit his mark. When Gary got up and went outside this morning sure enough there was another skunk in the trap and around the other side was one of the biggest cats I have ever seen. We have had that problem before, with the cat and the skunk under the house fighting to see who gets to remain. They will not live peacefully together. Somehow in chasing each other out from under the house, they both were captured. The skunk was none to happy and put up a bit of a fight. So 3 skunks and a cat later, hopefully we are now rid of them for awhile. But as the warmer tempuratures are calling for Spring to be here soon, we will probably continue this battle again down the road. The summer project list begins to grow.

The "Stinky" Situation Continues

So for all of these years that unique smell was not a special brand of perfume. You could start making your own perfume, "essence of skunk", or "Pepe' De Peeuw". Your overhead would have to be way low with the amount of skunks that you seem to have running around, you will be zillionaires with the right marketing. We are not as fortunate, here in Las Vegas the only skunks we have runnng around are the two legged kind.
